Who am I?

I have been a family lawyer for many years.  I was a trainee legal executive from the age of 19, often representing legally aided clients.  I then obtained a law degree at Liverpool University and completed my training contract in 1998 with what was then Thomas Eggar.  After initially working as a commercial property lawyer, I returned to my real passion of family law.

I worked in London in a large family team before returning to work in my native Sussex.  After a career break to have my family, I joined and became a salaried partner in a small high street practice.  This was a fantastic opportunity for me to broaden my experience working in general litigation as well as family cases.

Since 2020 I have focussed on my family law practice and worked at Wannops LLP and then Bate & Albon before joining Coole Bevis at the end of November 2023.

What I do

I provide advice and representation in all areas of family law including:

• Cohabitee Disputes

I am an experienced advocate so that I will frequently represent clients in court.

My Achievements

Qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and a Member of Resolution.

My hobbies and interests

Running, walking my rescue dog and spending time with family and friends.
