Who am I?
I am currently training to be a solicitor through the new solicitor’s qualification examination route, and I am gaining experience in private client work in the Rose Green office.
What I do
I am currently working under the supervision of the partner Rita Sen in private client work. I assist her in dealing with practical matters in estate administration and cases where we help clients who need assistance in managing their own financial affairs and dealing with their tax returns.
I also assist other fee earners, particularly in dealing with Court of protection matters and deputyships whilst learning more about the preparation of wills and inheritance Tax planning.
My Achievements
I achieved a first-class honours degree through the open university whilst working full time as a barristers clerk at a barrister’s chambers in London, which I am extremely proud of.
Whilst studying for my degree I also undertook 6 months’ work experience in criminal law having worked with the Freedom Law Clinic on criminal appeals matters.
Prior to studying for my degree, I worked for a law firm as a Litigation executive for over four years where I regularly conducted court hearings on behalf of clients who had suffered losses from personal injury.
My hobbies and interests
When I am not studying, I love reading crime fiction and in my spare time attend Latin and ballroom dance classes. I enjoy camping in the summer and games nights with my fiancé.
