Who am I?
Salaried Partner and Head of the Family Department.
What I do
I work closely with departmental colleagues; between us we have a very wide range of family law experience offering a friendly and efficient service to all our clients.
I aim to offer my clients a practical, pragmatic and efficient route through the difficulties they face following relationship breakdown. I have nearly 30 years’ experience as a solicitor in Family Law and understand that clients need a clear understanding of the options for them and their families, along with the costs, so that they can move forward with confidence. My clients come, mainly by personal referral, from a wide range of backgrounds. Every family situation is different, and I enjoy the variety my working life brings.
I specialise in financial settlement, in divorce proceedings, following the breakdown of cohabitation or the dissolution of civil partnerships. I am a trained Collaborative Lawyer. I have a wide range of family work experience to include divorce, financial matters and children act proceedings. I also have experience in both Pre Nuptial Contracts and Post Nuptial Contracts.
My Achievements
I am a trained Collaborative Lawyer, Member of Resolution (First for Family Law), member of Sussex Family Solutions Group and a member of the Worthing Collaborative Law Pod. I was a Member of the Law Society Children Panel for a number of years. In the past I have worked as a Mediator and a Peer Reviewer in conjunction with the Legal Services Commission.
