Who am I?
I am an associate solicitor specialising in leasehold enfranchisement. I qualified as a solicitor in 2013. I studied Law at the Solent University and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (Guildford). I joined Coole Bevis LLP in March 2021.
What I do
I specialise in leasehold enfranchisement which includes the processes of residential lease extension and claims to manage or own the freehold of your building. I pride myself on giving plain speaking advice on complex areas of law and can assist with:
- Residential lease extensions (both voluntary & statutory claims)
- Buying the freehold of your block of flats (Collective enfranchisement claims)
- Buying the freehold of your leasehold house
- Rights of first refusal (acting for landlords to sell the freehold of a block or acting for tenants in accepting and purchasing the freehold)
- Right to Manage Claims
I act for both private residential leaseholders (owners of flats or leasehold houses) and landlords.
My Achievements
I have been working in the legal sector since 2004 when I completed my Law degree. I then attended the University of Law (Guildford) from 2007 to 2009 whilst working full time, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013. I have been the sole ‘go-to’ leasehold specialist in two prominent South-Coast firms, building leasehold enfranchisement specialist work in each firm from scratch. Now I enjoy working with the Coole Bevis LLP Leasehold Enfranchisement team.
My hobbies and interests
In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, and generally being creative, as well as cooking (or better yet going out for lovely meals) and, circumstances permitting, travelling.
