Who am I?
I became a Consultant in the Family Department following the acquisition of my business, Fleming & Co, by Coole Bevis in April 2023.
I trained at Church Adams Tatham & Co in the 1980s, and have been a Specialist in Family Law since then, working at various times in Private Practice, and at others in my own firms.
Since completing my training in London, I have held senior positions in a number of Sussex based law firms including Woolley Bevis Diplock, one of the legacy firms that merged with Coole & Haddock in 2016 to form Coole Bevis LLP.
What I do
I liaise with the Family Department in all areas of Family Law.
I have had many successful cases, and some setting precedents which were then reported in national newspapers. One of note concerned two blue eyed parents with brown eyed children, leading the ‘father’ to take swabs, as the children slept, for DNA, to then discover that they were not his biological children.
I cover all areas of Family Law and my clients come to me through recommendation.
My Achievements
I have been on various Chamber of Commerce committees and have run a successful support group for clients struggling with divorce.
My hobbies and interests
I enjoy spending time with my grown up children, walking my dog and playing golf.
