Who am I?
A Private Client Executive in the Private Client department, available to meet clients in all four branches.
What I do
I have a depth of experience in both the legal and wealth management industries. I qualified as a lawyer in Cape Town, South Africa in 2000 and was admitted in the High Court, Cape of Good Hope Provincial Division.
My focus, at that stage, was on employee benefit work, life insurance claims, pension fund matters and mediation in the High Court. Working for insurance, asset management and wealth management companies gave me the opportunity to focus on supporting clients holistically and focus on their financial planning, investment advice, estate and inter-generational wealth planning.
My focus at Coole Bevis is on meeting clients' needs. I am able to assist with Will drafting, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Probate and Trusts. I am caring and compassionate in looking after the needs of both vulnerable and high net worth individuals and their families.
My Achievements
- The first time I ran a half marathon.
- I was invited to be one of 15 individuals to participate in a Chief Executive’s Challenge in 2015 which took our working group to Europe to meet with the leaders of global brands.
- I have been the head of a provincial property department for a Bank.
- I was Head of Compliance for an asset manager and became dual qualified as a Wealth Manager/Certified Financial Planner in both South Africa and the UK.
My hobbies and interests
I love going on new travel adventures with my partner. I have a keen interest in interior design. I enjoy reading non-fiction books and watching thought provoking films at the cinema. I also enjoy going on long weekend walks with my partner, working out in the gym and running outdoors - preferably along the seafront!
