Who am I?
Executive Partner (LLP Member) and Head of the Residential Property Department.
What I do
I am based in our Brighton office, where I head of our residential conveyancing team. I have over 19 years’ experience as a fee earner working in residential property work. I qualified as a solicitor in 1990 in London and have worked in and around Brighton since 1998. I joined the firm in 2003, became a partner in 2007 and a member in 2014. I have extensive experience in dealing with residential conveyancing and can help with complex matters. As a member and the head of the department I am keen to build on our reputation for outstanding client care and move the department forward to adapt to changes.
I have helped countless clients over the years ranging from first time buyers to high net worth individuals and property investors. From a studio flat to £5m plus properties and anything in-between. I can help with all aspects of residential conveyancing and in particular:
- Freehold and leasehold
- Residential sales and purchases
- Mortgages and re-mortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Auctions
- New builds
- Buy to let and investment purchases
- Equity release
- Voluntary lease extensions
- Deeds of surrender
- Deeds of easements
- Help to buy ISAs
I like to achieve the best for my clients in terms of personal service and outcome not only for the transaction but for the future too. I have good links with local estate agents who I regard as a crucial part of a sale or purchase.
My Achievements
I have a number of panel memberships. I have also dealt with many multimillion pound purchases and sales.
My hobbies and interests
I like to travel and enjoy watching National Hunt racing and cooking.
