Join the Coole Bevis LLP Management team
We are reshaping our central administration function and expanding our management team. As a result, the current vacancies are available:
• Practice Director/Head of Operations – full-time
• Business Development Manager – possibly 3 or 4 days per week
• HR Manager – possibly 3 or 4 days per week
These roles can be based at any of our offices so long as you can attend any of them when required; some remote working is possible. More details below
Practice Director/Head of Operations
You must have previous relevant experience in a law firm, with particular emphasis on managing strategy and compliance. The HR Manager, Business Development Manager and IT team will all report to you, so you require a sound understanding of each of these disciplines. You will work closely with the Head of Accounts and her team and be part of the firm’s Management Committee, reporting to the LLP Members.
Business Development Manager
This is a first time appointment so experience in a professional practice, ideally but not essentially a law firm, is preferred. You will advise on and manage the firm’s branding, marketing and business development, with duties ranging from updating/enhancing the website to organising and managing external events for the firm.
This person will manage and advise upon all areas of the HR function including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, health and safety. You will need a background in professional services, ideally in a legal practice. Regular attendance at all of our offices will be expected.
Private Client Lawyer, Hove
Our very busy team are hoping we will find an experienced, approachable lawyer to join them. Ideally with a solid knowledge of trust work, you will also be expected to take on more general “private client” work. Existing PSL agencies only.
Court of Protection Assistant – Worthing.
We plan to expand our COP team by recruiting another person to manage the less complex matters. You may already be handling Grade D work or you could be a private client secretary who would like to move into fee earning. We will provide training and supervision, so long as you have relevant experience to date and the right attitude. You must be IT literate. NO AGENCIES
Commercial Property Assistant, Horsham
We have a new role in our Horsham office for a secretary with sound knowledge of commercial property work. You will work with a solicitor based in locally, as well as help other fee-earners across the firm. NO AGENCIES
Residential Conveyancing Secretary, Brighton
Our Residential Property department is very busy and we would like another person to join our support team. Ideally you will have relevant experience and be used to working within a case management system. NO AGENCIES
